A Shorten Labor Government will boost health services for families in Brisbane’s east by building a dedicated child and youth health centre and expanding services at Gundu Pa.

Labor’s $29.2 million investment will ensure this community has affordable access to quality children’s health services close to home, helping kids from conception to adolescence.

”This is a wonderful announcement for the bayside community, as a parent I know that having access to healthcare close to home provides such peace of mind and will make a difference for many families across the bayside,” Ms Briskey said.

$800,000 TO UPGRADE AC CARINA FOOTBALL CLUB IF LABOR IS ELECTED.

If elected to Government, Labor will provide $800,000 to the AC Carina Football Club to construct an additional soccer pitch and proper facilities for their growing number of female players.

The facilities have not been able to keep pace with the surge in popularity for women’s soccer driven by the W-League, Matildas and players like Sam Kerr.
